Audio Technica Available in Australia

Audio-Technica started to develop headphones in the early 1970’s, when demand for the components was so rapid that it grew on a daily basis. We were proud of being able to produce high-quality earphones using our precision technology, as both earphones and cartridges are audio transducers. Our aim was to make the world’s best headphones and in 1974, three models of the AT700 series were born. These represent the origin of our headphones, which has led to today’s ATH series including the Audio technical ath-m50.

For the 33 years since then, our headphones have developed consistently to a point where they easily complete with the world’s best in terms of technical achievement, quality and comfort. Currently Audio-Technica is the number one seller of earphones in Japan. The United States fell in love with both the headsets and microphones and have been a key member of the audio family since the mid 70’s, however Audio-Technica did not launch in Australia until 2008. Audio-Technica has since become a powerhouse in Australia with top of the line headphones.
