One, Christina Binkley from the website Heard On The Runway, said ‘Necklines plunged so precariously that they seemed a personal shout-out to J-Lo…there were lots and lots of tight leather pants.’

Forbes fashion critic Blue Carreon suggested that the collection consisted of ‘clothes for Kanye’s tribe’, adding that they were for ‘women who have to attend the Grammy awards in statement making clothes that reveal a lot of skin’.

While he should most probably stick to the rap game, Kanye’s attempt at fashion design is applaudable. His use of luxe textures teamed with ghetto fabulous shapes are a great starting point to what could be the birth of an amazing fashion career.

In usual Kanye style, he didnt seem too bothered about the criticism when he appeared at the after party and thanked his guests for their support.

‘I thank anybody who came to this party, everybody who supported, everybody who believed,’ he said, ‘because people thought it was a joke, and maybe still do, but I can only grow from this point.’
